When I came across these Swans at the beach in Wellington, Ontario, they were calmly breaking a path through the ice.
It seemed odd to see these beautiful creatures acting as ice-breakers, but it sure was interesting to watch.
The leader of the group would begin carving out a path, and then the others would follow in a line behind.
Quite the show and an amazing sunset to go with it.
